For the first time ever, Papa John’s will be swapping its famous Californian tomato base for Heinz’s legendary tomato ketchup on their all new, Hot Dogpizza, launching 15th May 2019.
The clever folks at Papa John’s have joined forces with the condiment kings at Heinz and as a result, have created their sauciest ever pizza. The new Hot Dog pizza is not only a nod to the nation’s favourite condiment but recognises the winning flavour combinations of a classic hot dog. Each pizza is gloriously smothered with Heinz tomato ketchup base and topped with a generous helping of smoky Frankfurt sausages, soft white onions, signature Mozzarella and tangy Heinz yellow mustard, delivering an authentic taste with every bite.
Ensuring there is something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds, The Hot Dog pizza’ will also be available as a vegan option. Papa John’s launched its vegan menu earlier this year, and this all-new pizza will be the first time that a UK national pizza delivery chain has introduced a vegan meat substitute.
‘The Hot Dog’ and ‘The Vegan Hotdog’ pizzas launch on the 15th May, nationwide. Both can be ordered online at www.papajohns.co.uk and in store and are available for a limited time only
Giles Codd, UK Marketing Director at Papa John’s said: “We’re excited to launch our latest partnership with one of the nation’s best loved brands and use its iconic Heinz tomato ketchup as the base of our newest pizza.
