itsu, the Asian-inspired healthy food brand, has launched a new range of vegan protein’noodles into Sainsbury’s and Amazon from this month, Ocado to follow later this month (RRP £2.00).

Offering over 20 grams of protein power in each pot, the soybean noodles with a hand-crafted miso-based broth, direct from Japan, are available in three authentic Asian flavours - offering a convenient meal in minutes.

The three flavours available are:

super sesame: a vegan miso-based broth with a blend of nutty sesame, herbs & spices.

crackin’ curry: a vegan miso-based broth with a blend of Japanese curry spices.

mega miso: a vegan miso-based broth with a blend of spices & hint of chilli.

Adding to itsu’s existing range of popular noodle’cups, the hand-crafted miso based broth is created by Yoshihiro, a renowned master of Japanese cuisine, who blends itsu’s authentic broths in the Nagano Valley - three hours from Tokyo.

Yoshihiro does all the hard work to create a delicious broth base, so that time-poor Brits can simply just add hot water and enjoy an authentic Asian experience.

Containing no artificial colours, preservatives, flavours or added MSG, at under 212 calories and 6g of fat per cup, the range offers both a quick and easy lunch option or perfect post-workout snack after a gruelling workout.

itsu has just also launched its tonkotsu rice’noodles and udon’noodles to the ever-expanding range of noodles.

Inspired by the popular Japanese dish, tonkotsu ramen, itsu’s tonkotsu rice’noodles are gluten free and flavoured with a vegan tonkotsu miso broth [paste not powder]. The new product is low in both fat and sugar, at just 199 calories per pot.

Aimed at those who are looking for quick and easy meals, the new protein’noodles, tonkotsu rice’noodles and udon’noodles provide delicious, healthy meals in minutes, whilst providing the same restaurant quality at home.

The tonkotsu rice’noodles have an RRP of £1.75 and are available from Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Amazon.

The udon’noodles – available in sweet soy and a sesame chick’n – are popular as the thicker noodles absorb flavours beautifully.

These filling, healthy and delicious pots are capped at only 354 calories and serve as a restaurant quality and convenient lunch.

The tonkotsu noodles are also available from Amazon in a 6 pack, and the udon noodles in a 4 pack.
