They say variety is the spice of life and this couldn’t be truer for foodies! Today, itsu – the healthy, Asian-inspired restaurant – has announced its latest app feature, ‘Build Your Own’ (BYO).
The service allows Asian food fans to customise their order, meaning office workers will never be bored of the same lacklustre lunches and dinners again.
Boasting over 1,000 different, delicious combinations, hungry Brits can build bespoke itsu dishes – from rice and noodle bowls bathed in itsu’s signature broth, right through to sumptuous sushi boxes.
They say ‘less is more’, but at itsu there are no restrictions – food fanatics can add almost anything from the menu. From extra eggs to doubling up on dumplings or adding your favourite toppings – the choice is endless.
With the power to personalise, fans of the cuisine can now not only tailor to taste, but dietary needs too.
Whether you’re loading up on itsu’s protein packed meatballs, looking to eat more vivacious veggies, or participating in #MeatfreeMondays – there is a perfect match to be discovered.
What’s more, there are dozens of tasty and nutritious dishes that are under 500kcals for those seeking healthy alternatives at mealtimes.
Made fresh to order via the Click & Collect function on the itsu [insider] app, those near the King’s Road, Oxford Cornmarket and Brighton restaurants can already try out the feature.
A nationwide roll out is expected across all itsu restaurants on 21st April.
Ganan Kanagathurai, UK CEO of itsu, commented on the launch, “At itsu we understand there is no one-size-fits-all approach to living a healthy lifestyle – we all have different dietary needs and requirements.
“In recent years we’ve seen a surge in customer requests to go ‘off menu’. We’ve listened to our community and we’re thrilled to announce our NEW Build Your Own function, offering our customers a truly personalised, inclusive service.”
