Crosta & Mollica’s new Amaretto Tiramisù and Caramel Crema Cotta are the newest extension of the modern Italian food brand’s frozen desserts range

Crosta & Mollica’s new Amaretto Tiramisù and Caramel Crema Cotta are the newest extension of the modern Italian food brand’s frozen desserts range, as it continues to bring Italian specialities to UK supermarkets. Crosta & Mollica has witnessed a growing demand for premium desserts, and is expanding its offering with two new products, offering high quality at a reasonable price point. The Caramel Crema Cotta will be available to purchase from 2nd October in Waitrose nationwide, RRP £5, 200g, followed by Amaretto Tiramisù, which is launching into Tesco nationwide on 30th October, RRP £5, 220g.

The Amaretto Tiramisù is a twist on the well-loved Italian dessert. Traditional savoiardi biscuits are soaked in amaretto syrup, layered with mascarpone cream, and finished with crushed amaretti biscuits and almonds. Simply defrost at room temperature for 40 minutes prior to serving.

The Crema Cotta is Crosta & Mollica’s own take on the famous Italian dessert, Panna Cotta, made in Piemonte and inspired by French influences. The Crema Cotta is enriched with Italian cream and topped with a caramel sauce. It is best served defrosted at room temperature for approximately 40 minutes before being turned onto a plate.

The new launches follow Crosta & Mollica’s successful frozen dessert range, including its Tartufi frozen gelato truffles, Mascarpone Cream & Marsala Tiramisù and Gelato range, which launched in 2022 with strong growth since, and its popular Sorbetto Shells, launched in April this year. Crosta & Mollica continues to provide an elevated yet convenient dessert experience with Amaretto Tiramisù and Crema Cotta, capitalising on the growing UK market for Italian cuisine.
