Ueshima Coffee Company, Japan’s no.1 coffee brand, is introducing its latest innovation to the UK market
Ueshima Coffee Company, Japan’s no.1 coffee brand, is introducing its latest innovation to the UK market: Pour Over Coffee Bags. This new product offers consumers the perfect balance of tradition and convenience, delivering the quality of a pour over brew without the need for specialised equipment.
Ueshima are pioneers of Japanese coffee culture – the art of slowing down and appreciating the coffee aromas and drinking experience. The pour over technique is an ancient brewing method that embodies this message, as it brings out the coffee’s natural flavours and encourages drinkers to savour the coffee-making ritual. Designed with simplicity in mind, the Pour Over Coffee Bags are easy to use — open the filter, hook it over a cup, and pour hot water to brew. In just a few minutes, a rich, balanced coffee is ready to be enjoyed.
The new product features Ueshima’s signature House Blend, crafted by Japanese coffee masters. This blend offers a refined and well-balanced flavor profile, is sustainably sourced and certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
Kirsty Pavely, Marketing Controller, UCC comments: “It’s been an exciting year for us at Ueshima Coffee Company, following the launch of our ready-to-drink iced coffees earlier this year, the introduction of our Pour Over Coffee Bags continues to demonstrate our passion for innovation. Our team is constantly striving to push the boundaries of coffee excellence, and this new launch is a perfect example of that commitment. We’re thrilled to offer consumers another way to enjoy our expertly crafted coffee, with all the convenience of modern brewing.”
How to serve:
1. Remove the filter from the sachet and then tear along the perforation to open.
2. Tease open the hooks and hang them over the edges of your cup.
3. Pour 240ml of hot water over the coffee ground in several stages, allowing the water
to drip through.
4. Depending on the cup size the brewed coffee may surround the filter. After 2
minutes remove the filter and enjoy.
