SPAR Scotland is gearing up to launch an exclusive digital activation in Spring 2026 designed to attract new shoppers, boost footfall, and drive sales across its 300+ stores.

SPAR Scotland is gearing up to launch an exclusive digital activation in Spring 2026 designed to attract new shoppers, boost footfall, and drive sales across its 300+ stores.

The new ‘Spin into Spring’ campaign will combine gamification, instant rewards, and brand interaction to deliver a fun and engaging shopping experience for customers, while providing FMCG suppliers with a powerful platform to drive trial, repeat purchase and brand visibility.

Running for 42 days from 12 March to 22 April 2026, the campaign will invite shoppers to take part in a daily spin-to-win game via a dedicated web app. Each play offers an instant opportunity to receive FMCG-branded digital vouchers for free products or money-off rewards redeemable exclusively in SPAR Scotland stores.

Over 250,000 instant reward vouchers will be available, issued digitally and redeemable within seconds. Shoppers can also unlock a bonus game and guaranteed reward by engaging with the app three times during the campaign, helping drive repeat participation and store visits.

To keep excitement high, a £10,000 grand prize draw will conclude the promotion.

Paula Middleton, SPAR Scotland Head of Marketing, said: “We officially unveiled Spin into Spring at our recent 2025 annual Tradeshow event in Aviemore.

Spin into Spring builds on the success of our previous SPAR digital engagement campaigns, including Win With Every Goal and Frozen Fortune. We are giving shoppers a fresh reason to visit our stores more often, while offering brand partners an impactful, measurable way to drive trial and awareness at scale.

There are various supplier packages available, each offering a mix of brand exposure, in-store activation, and digital reach. Platinum partners will also feature on a vehicle livery, maximising visibility across Scotland throughout the campaign.
With its blend of rewards, convenience and measurable ROI, Spin into Spring represents the next evolution in SPAR Scotland’s digital shopper marketing strategy – giving suppliers a dynamic new way to connect with SPAR shoppers.

The campaign will be supported by a full consumer and trade PR launch, in-store POS, digital screens, web, and social channels. SPAR Scotland stores will also receive communications and top tips to help maximise participation, with additional incentives for store compliance and competitions rewarding best campaign displays and voucher redemptions.

Middleton added; “Sign up in terms of suppliers looking to participate has been incredible since our virtual briefing last month. We have extended the deadline until 14th November, and I would urge any supplier who has not already signed up to contact our Trading Team now.”
