Aldi Launches Fairtrade Rose Bouquet For Fairtrade Fortnight.

25 February, 20

Support Fairtrade Fortnight, which takes place from 24th February – 8th March, with Aldi’s range of marvellous Fairtrade flowers available at Aldi’s everyday amazing prices. If you like Fairtrade, then you might like Aldi.

Aldi is the largest Fairtrade retailer in the UK for flowers, and, as part of its commitment to Fairtrade, supports the ‘Dignity for All’ project, to which the supermarket has pledged £200,000 over four years. The local project supports 11,000 flower farm workers in Ethiopia – one of which is Herburg Roses – and delivers training to workers on women’s empowerment and equality in the workplace, as well as equality for those with disabilites.

Working exclusively with Herburg Roses, and just in time for Fairtrade Fortnight, the supermarket has launched the marvellous Fairtrade Rose Bouquet (£6.99) *. The bouquet is a beautiful blooming bunch of 25 crisp white, cerise pink, yellow, orange and ruby red 40cm Fairtrade Roses. What’s more, the Rose Bouquet features one of the workers involved in the project.

At Aldi, roses are red, yellow, pink and fair for all, all year round with Aldi’s Fairtrade flower range, available from just £2.99.

If like us you support Fairtrade, you’ll love Aldi’s Fairtrade Moser Roth Luxury Chocolate – choose from a wide variety of decadent flavours including Caramel, Madagascan Vanilla, Milk , Mint, Chilli, or Orange, or simple but sumptuous 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate (£1.45).
