Reaching a pivotal milestone, the British Farming Awards is back – bigger, better and ready to take 2022 by storm, 10 years since its launch
With a new venue, a new host and a refreshed selection of awards up for grabs, British farmers will once again be recognised for their commitment and innovation to an industry which consistently serves the nation, as the British Farming Awards opens for entries and nominations today.
Sponsored by Morrisons, the flagship event makes a welcome return as trust and confidence in British farmers from consumers continues to soar.
Alongside farming’s core sectors – dairy, beef, sheep, arable and technology – there is also recognition in other valued areas such as family farms, students, new entrants, agri-tech and the huge number of farm diversifications, which are now so crucial to many businesses.

New for this year is the introduction of Grassland Farmer of the Year award as we highlight the increasing efforts of those farmers pushing the boundaries within their grazing systems and maximising its potential.
The awards also welcome nominations of businesses which have introduced positive changes, whether that be embracing technology, streamlining production and efficiency, educating the public about food provenance, or revamping their business models to tackle the gargantuan impact of Covid-19.
