Carr’s Flour Mills joins Federation of Bakers

The Federation of Bakers (FOB) is delighted to welcome Carr’s Flour Mills as a new associate member.

Carr’s Flour Mills have been making flour for nearly 200 years. They run three mills based in Kirkcaldy (Fife), Silloth (Cumbria) and Maldon (Essex) which supply bakeries and food manufacturers across the United Kingdom with flours of the highest quality and consistency.

The Federation of Bakers Ltd represents the UK’s largest bakeries who supply the nation’s bread and morning goods and other bread products. With eight member companies running 25 bakeries in the United Kingdom and supplying the majority of the bread consumed in the UK FOB members include Delifrance UK, Fine Lady Bakeries, Geary’s Bakeries, Irwin’s Bakery, Jacksons Bakery, Kerry Ingredients, Frank Roberts & Sons and Warburtons.

The Federation of Bakers has 23 Associate Members who are all suppliers to the UK baking industry. Carr’s Flour Mills joins current associate members AAK (UK), AB Mauri UK and Ireland, ADM Milling, Baker Perkins, Bakers’ Basco, British Bakels, Baker & Baker Products UK, Bühler, Campden BRI, CSM (UK), GB Ingredients, Ferguson Engineering, FlexLink Systems, Food Paper, Kwik Lok, Lesaffre Group, Puratos, Spooner Industries, St. Pierre Groupe, We Seal, Zeelandia and Zeppelin Systems.
