Kooky announces first retail partnership with Yumbles.com

A fruity new brand, Kooky, is celebrating after expanding its stockists to include the pioneering online marketplace, Yumbles.com.

Previously only available via Kooky’s official website, the retail partnership is Kooky’s first since its official launch last month. The exciting move means that Kooky’s quirky range of freeze-dried and gently dried superfruit snacks will be more accessible to conscious food eaters across the UK.

With a product range including freeze-dried, light and crispy jackfruit, mango and mangosteen, and gently dried, soft and chewy banana and dragon fruit, all of the fruits used in Kooky’s products are sustainably sourced in Thailand and naturally dried with absolutely nothing added.

Conveniently packaged for on-the-go snacking, each product is loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, which will keep customers looking and feeling great whilst bringing the best fruits of the East to the West.

Born out of the founders’ desire to share the beauty and benefits of exotic superfruits in ways people hadn’t experienced before, Kooky is the brainchild of two mothers – Aline Burgmann and Deena Tan.

Having met at the school gates, Aline and Deena quickly bonded over their Asian roots and Western upbringings, recognising a shared passion for exotic fruit. The duo created Kooky, intending to bring a carefully curated selection of South-East Asian fruit to the UK by utilising unique relationships with Thai farmers to empower local producers.

Discussing the new business venture and partnership with Yumbles.com, Deena said, “We are delighted to announce that our products are now available on Yumbles.com. As a pioneering all-natural foods marketplace, we are thrilled to have their support, and this is certainly a proud moment for us as we take our place amongst some of the best British artisan brands”.

Founded in 2013, Yumbles.com is a leading online marketplace featuring more than 400 of the UK’s most talented independent food makers and more than 4,000 unique food and drink products.

Committed to making the most delicious, healthy and all-natural food accessible to conscious food eaters across the UK, Yumbles taste-test food from every maker themselves. They work only with the best small-batch and socially responsible food makers to ensure that all products stocked are good for us and the world around us – as well as being delicious, too.

Via Yumbles.com, Kooky’s products are available in boxes of 10 packs, with prices starting at £20.50. Products can also be bought via Kooky’s online ‘frui-tique’ www.iamkooky.com, with exciting plans to be introduced in further retailers nationwide soon.
