Proving it is definitely #MoreThanFruitAndVeg, Fowler Welch has secured a new contract with Wensleydale Creamery, the makers of the famous Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese.
The multi award-winning supply chain expert will provide the iconic cheesemaker with bulk storage for its maturing cheese, as well as distribution services between two of its manufacturing sites in Hawes and near Ripon, North Yorkshire.
The new contract was awarded following a full tender process after the customer identified a need for storage of approximately 1500 pallets split between ambient and temperature-controlled environments.
Fowler Welch’s fully BRC Accredited facility in Washington (AA standard) is ideally suited to these unique requirements, with the capacity to store and distribute both temperature regimes under one roof.
