This Halloween Waitrose & Partners introduces something scarily delicious to its cheese counter – a Sticky Toffee Apple Wensleydale. With a flavour and a shape synonymous with the spooky season, this is a perfect addition to a Halloween cheeseboard.

Whilst it may sound like more of a trick than a treat, the taste of sticky caramel pieces and apple combine with luxuriously creamy flavours of Yorkshire Wensleydale make a unique and unexpectedly good cheesy treat.

Alice Shrubsall, cheese buyer at Waitrose & Partners, says

“As the popularity of Halloween celebrations continues to grow, our expert Partners on the service counter will be on hand to share their knowledge on what other cheeses to add, or what to serve with it, such as pairing with an apple cider or Perry for a true Halloween match made in heaven.”

Wensleydale Creamery, the award-winning cheesemakers behind this creation, is well known for innovatively blending cheese with unusual ingredients. Once again, the cheese specialists have developed a flavour something that’s sure to grab the attention of Waitrose shoppers.

The Sticky Toffee Apple Wensleydale (200g) is priced at £2.60.and is available on the Waitrose & Partners cheese counters and online at Waitrose.com now.
