Welcome Warm Weather With Waitrose Frozen Treats.

Just in time for the upcoming heatwave, Waitrose & Partners have introduced new flavours to its indulgent ice cream range, inspired by classic dessert flavours which promise to keep you cool even with temperatures promising to soar to 27 degrees. Whether it’s retro influences or twists on fan favourites, this new selection of flavours offers ice lollies and creams that cater to the adventurous tastes.

On a hot summer’s day, sometimes only an ice lolly will do! Waitrose new ‘Grown Up’ flavours are a sophisticated take on the classic ice lolly. Waitrose Chai Latte Lollies (£3.49), with coconut and spice flavours, and Waitrose Sicilian Lemonade Lollies (£2.49) packed full of refreshing zesty lemon juice, these lollies will give a nod to your childhood summers whilst quenching your thirst and cooling you down.

For chocolate addicts look no further than Waitrose 1 Rich Chocolate Sorbet with a Sea Salt Caramel ice cream centre (£3.69). Made from Santo Domingo chocolate containing 70% cocoa solids and Cornish sea salted caramel, the mix of sorbet and ice cream keeps the consistency light enough to justify the inevitable desire for seconds.

Finally, Italia meets Britannia with Waitrose 1 Caffé Macchiato Ice Cream with a West Country Ice Cream Centre (£3.69). Fans of dark roasts should keep an eye out for this milky frozen dessert which has been created with the finest coffee blend straight out of Italy. A nod to its British production comes from the classic West Country cream which fills the centre of the pot.

Catherine Gates, Product Developer at Waitrose & Partners comments, “We know our customers love ice lollies and creams and with an upcoming warm spell, we wanted to make sure we had a wide selection of flavours that will excite and inspire.”

“We knew vanilla is a firm favourite, but for this selection of desserts we wanted to create a range that drew inspiration from some of the favourite ingredients in our stores and from around the globe, whilst evoking the enjoyable childhood memories of cold treats on a hot summer’s day!”

Lollies and ice creams available at Waitrose branches and online at Waitrose.com with prices starting at £2.
