Tim Moran, Logistics Director of Yearsley Group, has been appointed president of the Food Storage and Distribution Federation (FSDF). The FSDF is the main trade organisation representing the food logistics industry.

With more than 25 years’ experience in frozen logistics, encompassing both warehouse and transportation operations, and having sat on the FSDF board since May 2013, Tim brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role.

Moran will serve as FDSF president for 2 years through to December 2019. Chris Sturman, CEO of FSDF commented, “We are delighted to have Tim on board as our new president. Yearsley Group and Moran have played a pivotal role within the UK logistics sector over the past 10 years, continually investing in infrastructure, service and technology – innovating where it really matters to stay ahead of the curve.’
