Ocado creates new aisle dedicated to 100-calorie snacks to help families revamp snacking habits

Newly released guidance from Public Health England is advising us to keep snacks to 100 calories and maximum two a day. However, it can be hard for families to find snacks that meet this advice.

For households looking to snack better in 2018, leading online retailer Ocado has made it easier than ever to find lower calorie options with the creation of a dedicated aisle at ocado.com.

Building on from other Ocado initiatives for better eating, the new ‘100 calorie’ aisle currently stocks more than 100 favourites for a one-stop shop delivered straight to your door – all of which come in at under 100 calories per serving, without compromising on taste.

Andrew Ayres, Senior Buying Manager at Ocado, explains:With the release of the new guidance, we want to make it as easy as possible for families to make better choices when it comes to snacking, without feeling like they’re missing out.

“The wide range of lower calorie alternatives we offer are perfect both at school and at home – it’s as easy as adding them to your weekly shop!
