Rhubarb And Custard Sweet Ravioli Headlines ASK Italian’s New Three Course Dessert Menu.

15 October, 19

Dessert lovers rejoice, this Autumn ASK Italian is making all your sweet tooth dreams come true, launching a first-of-its-kind Three Course Dessert Menu available nationwide.

Inspired by Brits’ love of all things sweet – with two thirds of people identifying themselves as self-confessed dessert obsessives who would choose to eat sweet food forever if they had the choice. With almost half (46%) of Brits saying desserts cheer them up with summer passing and the colder night’s drawing in – this special new menu is the perfect Autumnal treat.

The tempting menu dishes which are also all available on ASK Italian’s new Autumn Menu, take cues from a traditional three course meal using classic Italian ingredients such as pasta and gnocchi but serving them as delicious desserts – offering playful twists on Italian classics:

A starter to set you on your sweet course: Ahead of the main event, people can tantalise their taste buds with the irresistibly baked Chocolate Gnocchi – little bundles of joy, filled with Nutella and served with chocolate sauce on the side.
A retro inspired main (course) event: Taking centre stage, the show-stopping main showcases an Italian take on a nostalgic British flavour favourite – Rhubarb and Custard Ravioli featuring pretty pink filled pasta parcels with a sweet and sour rhubarb filling, in a mouth-watering vanilla custard, topped with crumble.
The dessert menu dessert: Finish with the Italian classic, Prosecco Sorbet, a truly traditional Italian end to the menu.

Available for £12.95, the ASK Italian Three Course Dessert Menu is a deliciously indulgent treat to tuck into this Autumn.

Heather Campbell-Little, part of the Food Development team at ASK Italian said,

“We designed this menu for all the dessert lovers out there who want to treat themselves to something indulgent when the weather turns colder. As you certainly shouldn’t swap dinner for just dessert every day, this is the ultimate treat! So now, for those who simply can’t choose between deserts, they won’t have to.”

This limited-edition dessert menu is available nationwide 24th September – 24th October. Book into your local ASK Italian and ask for the three-course dessert menu.

Also available as part of ASK Italian’s wider Autumn menu, available 7 days a week from 24th September, is a selection of new flavour-packed and hearty seasonal dishes, including a new Sausage and Truffle Infused Pasta and new King Prawn & Crayfish Pasta, both made with fresh egg frilly pasta, and Slow Cooked Beef Shin in Chianti Sauce.

There are plenty of vegetarian meal options, as well as Allergen, Vegan & Non-Gluten menus available, with dishes including Prima Super Green Pizza, a pea purée base topped with tender baby kale, asparagus, peas, red pepper pearls, spinach, balsamic red onions and vegan mozzarella alternative.
