Brakes, the UK’s leading foodservice wholesaler, has launched a new range of high quality, price-fighting beef products offering affordable access to a menu favourite.

With inflation continuing to rise and kitchen costs at all-time highs, the cost-effective range of ‘Simply Steak’ products offers operators a comprehensive beef range, including diced beef and diced chuck, strip loins, various steak cuts, including rump and ribeye, as well as roasting joints. It is produced exclusively for Brakes by an award-winning butchery company, which won multiple awards at the 2021 and 2022 World Steak Challenge Awards showcasing its product quality.

Using a unique, state-of-the-art butchery technique to enhance the tenderness and consistency of beef’s eating quality, the product can be fully traced to the farm, herd and animal that produced it, providing complete peace of mind for customers.

Michael Nelson, Brakes’ Senior Category Manager, Meat & Poultry, said: “Some customers have told us that they are struggling to keep beef on the menu, so we’ve sourced a range of high quality beef products that ensure customers are getting a fantastic product at a very competitive price.

“The new range has something for everyone, from a basic diced beef right though to a tender ribeye steak. Working with a skilled butchery partner, we know that customers will not only love the price, they’ll also love the quality.”

The full Simply Steak range includes Diced Chuck Steak; Beef Striploin; Ribeye Steaks; Topside Joints; Rump Joint; LMC Steaks; Silverside Joint; Diced Beef; Beef Brisket; Ribeye Joint; and Rump Steaks.
