Award-winning premium bottled cocktail company, Bar Buoy has launched its new deliciously decadent Espresso Martini, which is available in four types of serves (Cabin, Captain, Sailors, Crew*). Bar Buoy’s range of handcrafted cocktails is ideal for retailers, pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, event organisers, and even holiday homes, across the UK.

The perfect boozy pick me up, Bar Buoy’s Espresso Martini (15% ABV) is expertly crafted with Dartmoor-based TORS vodka, coffee liqueur, Owens organic cold brew espresso and sugar syrup. The gorgeously rich aroma manages to capture the heady scent of freshly roasted coffee. It’s punchy, bitter, sweet and smooth all at the same time. And while it’s rich and indulgent, it’s also perfectly balanced.

To serve, chill the Bar Buoy Espresso Martini in the fridge, give it a good shake in a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice to achieve a thick foam, strain into a martini glass and garnish with three coffee beans – which are said to represent health, wealth and happiness.

All Bar Buoy cocktails are made with premium spirits and high-quality ingredients. Bar Buoy has carefully chosen the businesses it’s partnered with as their products are some of the best available anywhere, they’re all local to Devon and they all share the same important values around sustainability.

Bar Buoy has a range of 12 delicious cocktails for all tastes, available in four different bottle sizes and with 100% plastic-free and recyclable packaging. The cocktails are Bramble, Cosmopolitan, Devon Stormy, Espresso Martini, Mai Tai, Margarita, Mojito, Negroni, Old Fashioned, Passion Fruit Martini, Raspberry Daiquiri and Seabird. The company donates 1% of all its sales to Project Seagrass, a marine charity devoted to the conservation of seagrass ecosystems through education, influence, research and action.

There are many reasons for how serving high quality, ready-made bottled cocktails to customers can benefit the hospitality industry, such as the convenience of having a perfectly measured and mixed cocktail without the need for specialised equipment or expertise. The ability to ensure that every cocktail served is consistent in terms of taste and strength, regardless of who is making it. They allow bartenders to serve cocktails quickly, which is particularly important during peak hours.

Owens has roasted 100% Fairtrade and organic coffee since 2010. The Roastery is based in South Devon, at Ivybridge. Here trade customers can visit for tastings of the range and make use of the training facilities on-site. Barista training is offered to all of Owens’ trade customers and professional baristas, looking to expand their knowledge and skills, are welcomed too.

For the Bar Buoy Espresso Martini, Owens created a cold brew from its Baya blend, a darker roasted blend of Arabica organic and Fairtrade coffee beans from Indonesia and Central America, which bring notes of spicy dark chocolate and a sweet brightness.
